Aims of the Project.
This project is about protected species in our countries. Our students will do research about which species are protected by law and why. Are they endemic, indigenous, endangered? If they are endangered, why? They will also find interesting facts about the species. The students from each country will send the information to each other as well as upload this information on a web site. Then, they will have to analyse the differences between protected species in one country and the other.

Power point of every town-school-group to introduce every partner to the rest.	End of November	We submitted a ppt about the Maltese islands, a ppt of our Lyceum and a short video clip of our Lyceum.
Find a list of protected Reptiles Mammals Fish Birds Amphibians In every country	End of December	Students were given a project to do on ppt.
The students have to present their research Present their work Set up an exhibition of their work	End of January	The students presented their work and are preparing for the exhibition.
Upload the information by both schools on the internet.	By 1^st week of February
Every school will compare all the information i.e. Protected reptiles in Bulgaria with protected reptiles in Malta and so on. In which country are there more protected species? Does the size of the country make a difference? Are the species different? Are there any similar species that are protected in both countries? Etc.	By end of February (there will be half yearly exams in Malta)
Uploading our conclusions on the internet and comment about each others’ evaluations	By end of February in Malta, and by end of March in Bulgaria
Evaluation of the project.	End of June. (Maltese teacher will be out on maternity leave from March till May).
